Neil Bromage
This is me............
I can`t quite remember when I began to write. Somewhere, buried deep in the recesses of what passes for a memory I recall winning a short story competition in school and receiving a book on the planets by way of reward. I`d be about eleven years old at the time.
The idea of writing stuck with me for a long time. But it wasn`t until Monday, September 8th 1975 that I decided to begin keeping a daily journal. That`s when the writing really began but it would be twenty years before it came to fruition.
I was first published in Lancashire Life magazine; an interview with Doreen Lofthouse, owner and founder of the world renowned Fisherman`s Friend Lozenge. That single article helped build my career and establish me as a professional writer and journalist. Since then I`ve been published in a wide variety of mainstream newspapers and magazines and written on many different topics relating to business, entrepreneurship, and law. I`ve also interviewed a number of high profile business leaders.
Writing is my passion and I`ve taught Creative Writing for colleges, universities and other organisations and led Creative Writing projects for Arts Council England.
How To Books published my first non-fiction book 100 Ways to Make Your Business a Success in the UK and also abroad. Reuters commissioned the report, Delivering on the ePromise: Strategies for Successful Fulfilment in the New Economy.
Writing isn`t something I do it`s who I am.
